For the first time in Australia, Anglicare Victoria and OzChild are introducing a new kind of foster care program that needs carers ready for a new kind of thinking.
TFCO is an internationally proven behaviour modification program that provides intensive support to the child, carer and birth family within a six to nine month period and has a 70% success rate in settling children back into a stable family environment.
With over 30 years demonstrated success in the US, UK and New Zealand and scientifically rated by international child welfare research bodies in its successful outcomes, the highly structured model offers comprehensive training and guidance before and during the program. The program also supports the child and foster carer with 24/7 support with school and counselling specialists and a skills coach.

Where does TFCO operate?
The program requires foster carers to be living in the Bayside Peninsula and Southern Metro Melbourne areas including Bayside, Frankston, Glen Eira, Kingston, Mornington Peninsula, Port Philip, Stonnington, Cardinia, Casey and Great Dandenong.
